Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation in Canada stops providing single-use plastic bags

The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation imposed a ban on single-use plastic bags effective on 1st of November 2018 in the state of Newfoundland. From now on, customers throughout the province have the choice of free paper bags, buying reusable ones for 99 cents, or bringing their own bags to the stores.
