Bermuda announces plans to ban single-use plastics by 2022

The government of Bermuda has announced its plans to phase-out and ban single-use plastics by 2022. The plans were announced in the government’s 2018 throne speech. The government will spend the interim leading up to 2022 on “educating the community about recycling and re-usable items and encouraging greater sensitivity to the ocean.”
