M&S trials plastic-free packaging to become zero-waste by 2025

Marks & Spencer has begun a three-month trial starting end of January 2019 in its Tolworth supermarket, selling 90 lines of single-use plastic-free vegetables and fruits. The company stated that it has introduced trained greengrocers who will be on hand to offer customers with guidance and advice to adapt to the changes at the supermarket. Furthermore, the range of packaging-free products available in the store is set to increase in the coming months.
