Fashion retailer Zara and other brands such as Pull & Bear and Bershka have pledged to only sell sustainable clothes by 2025. The parent company of the brands, Inditex , stated that all cotton, linen and polyester will be organic, sustainable or recycled by then.

From 2020, there will be containers at the stores that will collect old clothes from consumers so that they can be reused or recycled into new items. Inditex has also promised to completely eliminate single-use plastic in all its stores by 2023.
