Carrinet's 'Veggio' bag is a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic bags

Sweden-based company Carrinet has banished the need for single-use plastic bags with their product, Veggio. Veggio is a reusable food bag that you can take to the supermarket to carry your food items.

Made from high-quality polyester net, the Veggio bags have been stress-tested to 10 kilograms. Each Veggio bag comes with a strong nylon drawstring cord so that fresh produce will not escape the bag on the checkout conveyer belt. The bags can be used over and over again and repurposed for laundry and travel bags. They are washable and breathable so you can rinse your produce through the bag.

Recently, Carrinet released an upgraded version of the Veggio bags that are made from recycled PET bottles. This version is 100 per cent recyclable, lightweight, and machine washable.
