Marine biologist Rachel Labbé-Bellas will unveil her new water refill station, The Green Stop, at Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival on the 2nd of August 2019. The Green Stop is designed to prevent people from using single-use plastic water bottles and increase awareness about the environment.

The Green Stop is a kiosk with six taps that provides free, clean city water. The station is portable and can be rented to use in a variety of public spaces, such as sporting venues and beaches.

Labbé-Bellas hopes to expand The Green Stop to other festivals and events across Montreal. She is also planning to offer reusable bottles at The Green Stop, as well as sunscreen and other concert necessities that generate less waste.
