La Luna Festival partners with sustainable organisations in a bid to reduce plastic waste


La Luna is partnering with organisations such as Klean Kanteen and Ever&Ever in a bid to reduce the amount of plastic waste that is generated at the US music festival.

The festival is also implementing ‘food truck vendor compliance with 100 per cent compostable materials and no sales of single-use plastic or plastic straws’. Moreover, the leftover food from the festival will be donated to local community organisations.

The festival has also partnered with RoHo Compost, a non-profit organisation which is committed to reducing food waste through composting. Furthermore, the merchandise sold at the festival is made from 100 per cent recyclable textile waste.
