Manchester Airport is participating in Refill, a ‘city to sea’ scheme that aims to reduce the amount of single-use plastic waste in the country.

Refill regional coordinator Sarah Irving stated that “rolling out Refill in Manchester Airport is really going to help the campaign for reusables to take off, with many travellers opting to take their own bottles and cups when travelling.”

At Manchester Airport, free water bottle refills are available to travellers. They can top up their bottles at 33 outlets across the airport’s terminals in addition to the water fountains located in the arrival and departure lounges.
