KiteNest launches campaign to become a plastic-free beauty company in the UK

KiteNest, a Lincoln-based and family-run beauty business, has almost reached its 7,000 GBP crowdfunding target which will help the company transition to 100 per cent plastic-free packaging.

KiteNest’s products contain natural ingredients and are handmade by co-founders Chris Staples and Markus Coulson. Their product range includes hair wax, salt scrubs, lip balms, and body butter.

The company recently found a plant-based substitute to the plastic lids of their organic dry shampoo. The founders hope to make plastic “a thing of the past at KiteNest” through this alternative. The beauty business stated that “although this biodegradable plastic is more expensive than our plastic ones, we’re going to make the change without any hesitation.”

If your business is interested in switching to plastic-free packaging, KiteNest could be a great solution. Contact KiteNest Co-founder Chris Staples on LinkedIn.
