From May 2019 onwards, Metro supermarkets in Quebec permits customers to use their reusable containers for ready-to-eat meals, meat, seafood, and pastries. In a bid to reduce single-use plastic packaging, Metro is the first major supermarket in Canada to allow reusable containers in their stores.

You can collaborate with Metro to reduce single-use plastic packaging by contacting the supermarket through their website.
