The University of Colorado Boulder is participating in a program called Positive Impact Points (PIPs) for School. PIPs are a ‘currency of change’ that are earned and redeemed for daily life behaviours such as recycling and using reusable water bottles to reduce single-use plastic waste. Students who download the PIPs Rewards mobile app can then turn the PIPs they earn into a scholarship to pay tuition fees.
