Garden City will get US state Idaho’s first zero-waste wholesale store
Entrepreneurs Lea Rainey and Zach Yunker have set up a zero-waste wholesale store which will not only be the first of its kind in Idaho but also in the northwestern region of United States. The store will provide an alternative for families who seek to buy wholesale grocery items without packaging. The owners hope to set an example for other retailers in the region and pass any savings from the initiative back to their customers. Roots Zero Waste Market will open its door towards the end of fall 2018.
