London’s plastic-free campaigner Bettina Maidment to host a weekend of zero-waste activities

The Hackney (borough of London) campaigner Bettina Maidment is inviting Londoners to participate in a weekend full of activities planned including a zero-waste market, a documentary on plastic pollution and a litter-pick on the Marshes (Sunday, 30th September). On Saturday evening there will be a special screening of the documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’ followed by a panel discussion that will include Friends of the Earth campaigner Julian Kirby, Tash Rutherford of the Plastic Oceans Foundation, Philip Kyeremanteng from the Canal & River Trust and Jack Agnew of Get Loose.
