UK supermarket chain launches bring your own reward scheme

From July 2018, Morrisons, the UK’s fourth largest supermarket, allows their customers to have raw meat and fish weighed and then placed into their own containers, mitigating the need for plastic bags and in exchange, rewarding them with 100 loyalty card points.

Morrison's is also trialling "plastic free" fruit and vegetable aisles across some stores, in which polythene multi-packs will be replaced with loose fruit and veg or paper bags.
