The University of Gloucestershire slaps summer ban on single-use coffee cups

The University of Gloucestershire has removed single-use disposable cups from its refectories and coffee counters after feedback from students and staff.

The pilot, which started on 9th July and will last one month, gives staff, students and visitors a number of options: bring a reusable cup and receive a discount on drinks, purchase a reusable cup from the outlet, or use a china mug and sit-in with one's coffee.
