All plastic plates, cups and utensils now banned on Italy's Isole Tremiti archipelago
On 1 May 2018, all plastic plates, cups and utensils were banned on Isole Tremiti, an archipelago off the east coast of Italy. Anyone caught using plastic dining ware on the Italian islands will be fined between €50 and €500. Plastic bottles, however, are for now still legal. More at The Independent.
