Advertising Week Europe looks to the Trash Isles, replacing single-use plastic bottles with refillable, eco-friendly cans

Advertising Week Europe, in support of UK-based entertainment and social media company LADbible group’s environmental campaign the Trash Isles, moves to ban single-use plastic bottles from its 2018 conference taking place from March 19th to March 22nd in London.

Plastic bottles will not feature. Instead, delegates at the London gathering will be encouraged to use complimentary resealable cans provided by London-based sustainable packagers CanO Water, which can then be topped up at refill stations positioned around the venue.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, LADbible will host a main stage session exploring how the creative industries can become a catalyst for raising awareness around plastic pollution, to drive positive action from consumers worldwide, brands and government bodies.
