Dutch Railway, NS, to build water refill stations

NS, the national railway operator in the Netherlands, has decided to build water refill stations throughout their network. The project will see 3 million euros invested to build refill stations in 200 of the train stations in the Netherlands, providing free water access to 90% of the passengers at some point of their daily journey. NS plans to complete this first phase by the end of 2019 and eventually expand to all the stations in the Netherlands (around 400). The first refill station will open in the Alkmaar train station before the end of October 2018.
