IKEA displays its last single-use straw at London’s Design Museum
IKEA unveiled a symbolic ‘last single-use plastic straw’ in a display booth at London’s Design Museum. The so-called ‘Last Straw’ installation went on display, as IKEA stopped serving single-use plastic straws at their UK and Ireland stores, restaurants and bistros this week. The Swedish Furniture chain announced in June that it has set a goal to eliminate single-use plastics from their stores and F&B outlets by 2020, in all of its 363 stores in 29 countries.
