Water3 installs two water refill stations in Noosa town, Australia
Queensland-based social enterprise Water3 has installed 2 water refilling stations around the Noosa town where residents can fill up their bottles instead of sorting to bottled water. The company estimates that this initiative will eventually have the potential to curb an estimated 135,000 water bottles purchased across the Gold Coast, annually. Water3 works to disrupting the current paradigm of single use plastic bottles. They are expanding a network of high tech refill stations that include their Water3 bottle, which comes with an embedded RFID chip to allow seamless refilling & payment.
