Sydney based start-up offers reusable coffee cups made from bamboo offcuts
Ed Burton, an avid coffee enthusiast and entrepreneur, has designed a durable and lightweight coffee cup that is completely made out from bamboo offcuts left from chopstick production. Burton had been developing this product for the last 18 months, inspired by a bamboo cup he had come across, which had been too hot to hold. Burton’s design comes with a double-wall insulation that is cool to the hand, similar to that of a plastic cup. The habit reusable coffee cup is now shipping to the initial round of Kickstarter funders, and orders can be placed on their website for the next round of cups.
