Two water refill stations installed at Edinburgh Waverley railway station in Scotland
Edinburgh Waverley station, the biggest railway station in the capital of Scotland has been installed with two new water-refilling stations. Network Rail Scotland, announced that this would be part of its wider ambitions to improve its sustainability and reduce the impact of single-use plastic waste at its stations. The company reports that they have been adding water refilling stations throughout its network in the recent months and estimates that the additions have curbed some 150,000 plastic bottles thus far.
