The first zero-waste café, Život, opens in Zagreb, Croatia

The first zero-waste cafe has opened in Croatia. Café Život opened in Vrbani, an area west of Zagreb's city centre. The café aims to refuse unnecessary packaging from their sourcing stream. Run by the non-profit Zero Waste Croatia initiative, the café’s menu offers a large variety of organic and vegan foods and beverages.
