Supermarket chain Morrisons signs up to UK Water’s Refill campaign
In a significant milestone for the UK water’s national campaign Refill, supermarket chain Morrisons signed up to become a water-refilling station. As part of the Refill network throughout the country, now anyone with a reusable bottle can fill it free of charge at the supermarkets’ cafes. Morrisons recently has taken other initiatives towards fighting single-use plastics, including allowing customers buying meat or fish from their Market Street Butcher and Fishmonger counters to take their purchases home in their own packaging.
