The Victorian government in Australia launches a campaign to make bring-your-own a habit
The state Government of Victoria launched a campaign in the first week of October 2018, encouraging Victorians to invest in reusable shopping bags. The Better Bag Habits campaign launched by Environment Ministry encourages citizens to remember their ‘bag, wallet, keys and phone’ when they step outside their houses. The minister notes that the only way to make reusable bags a norm is to make it part of people’s daily habits, similar to how mobile phones have come to be.
