Sweet Indulgence Café in Nova Scotia, Canada, goes single-use plastic-free

Kate Cocks, an entrepreneur who owns the Kate's Sweet Indulgence Café, has taken steps to make her F&B operation single-use plastic free. Cocks said that she has been gradually taking action against single-use plastics starting with plastic water bottles, which the café eliminated last year, and thereon has switched to wooden utensils & biodegradable bags & containers for takeout orders. Additionally, the café was recently featured in CBC Land & Sea documentary Ocean Devotion, highlighting the positive influence the café has had on the town of Lunenburg.
