The English City of Peterborough to get its first zero-waste deli

Locals and tourists in the Eastern English town of Peterborough will see the inauguration of Be Kind Kitchen as the city celebrates the Organic September, an initiative that promotes sustainable, organic and seasonal produce. The deli is focused on utilising and selling seasonal and locally-grown organic produce to reduce wastage on packaging and limit their environmental impact. The store set to open in the first week of October 2018, will invite their customers to bring their own containers and bags, and get discounts and incentives for doing so.
