The auction house café in Invercargill, New Zealand tackles single-use cups by providing their own reusable cups

Entrepreneur Judy McNeilly of the Café The auction house in Invercargill has made a reusable takeaway cup available for her regular customers. Customers can ‘borrow’ the cups instead of single-use takeaway cups and return them at a later point. Mcneilly instilled the policy to achieve her goal of phasing out single-use cups from her café. She reports that her customers have embraced the initiative and the café has become an example for other establishments in the area.
