STOP SUCKING: US campaign to end use of plastic straws still going strong

Strawless Ocean kicked off its STOP SUCKING campaign in 2017 aimed at reducing the staggering 500 million(!) plastic straws being used (and trashed) every day in the US. Many of those plastic straws end up in the ocean, polluting the water and harming sea life. In fact, at the current rate of plastic pollution, there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish by 2050.

The campaign challenges consumers to #StopSucking and then challenge their favorite restaurant, bar, coffee shop or venue to join the movement. The campaign's set up relies heavily on celebrities, design, even humour and real call to actions. One to bring to virtually any other country in the world as soon as possible (by you?)! More at Strawless Ocean.
