'Revolv' wants Singaporeans to kick the single-use plastic habit by renting reusables

A new service aimed to get Singaporeans to bring their own cups and containers will launch at the end of January 2019. Revolv, a startup already launched in Hong Kong and Bali, will provide RFID tagged cups and containers (for a refundable deposit) that customers can return at participating cafes and restaurants when they pick up their next drink or meal. Customers will also enjoy discounts and special offers at participating food and beverage operators, and events.
